Kitchen remodeling SEO and marketing for remodelers and design-build firms

Kitchen remodeling SEO is the job of being the company a homeowner has already read about by the night they decide the old cabinets have to go. Marketing is our only line of work, and we do it for remodelers, design-build firms and kitchen and bath companies, and we think like a project coordinator who happened to learn search.

The goal is a steady line of design-consult requests for the projects and towns you actually want, not a flood that buries your design team.

Think of each month as one phase of a remodel: you pay no startup fee, sign no contract, and can close the phase out whenever it ends.

Homeowners study a kitchen in a fixed order, and your company comes last

Nobody wakes up and types kitchen remodeling contractors first. The research tends to run in a rough order. Ideas come first: pinned photos, small kitchen remodeling ideas, a folder of before and after pictures. Materials come next, and a homeowner may spend weeks on quartz against butcher block before a single company enters the picture. Cost follows, because kitchen remodel cost is the question people type and many remodelers decline to answer.

Only then does the search turn to companies, and by that point the homeowner has opened a pile of tabs. The pricing page gets read before anyone picks up a phone, and the portfolio gets read before anyone books a design consult. Good kitchen remodeling SEO means a page for each of those stages, so your firm is on the list. A firm with a homepage and a phone number is guessing.

Kitchen projects worth giving their own page

A full remodel and a cabinet refresh are different purchases made by different homeowners. Searchers can tell, so the site should too.
  • Biggest scope

    The full gut remodel

A homeowner weighing a new layout, an island and a fresh run of cabinets needs to see how your process handles demo, selections and the walk-through at the end.

  • Smaller scope

    Cabinet refacing

Someone with sound cabinet boxes and tired door fronts will search this directly. A separate page keeps them from bouncing off a full-remodel pitch.

  • Material first

    Countertop replacement

Quartz, granite and soapstone searches are often where the journey begins. A page per material gives you a doorway into the rest of the site.

  • Design question

    Layout changes and the island

The homeowner asking whether an island will fit is asking for a design consult in disguise. Answer in your own words and point to the booking step.

  • Constraint

    The small kitchen

Small kitchen remodeling ideas pull a large and patient crowd. A page that shows how your designers handle tight rooms earns a bookmark.

  • Bundle

    Kitchen and bath together

Firms that do both can capture kitchen and bath remodeling searches with one project page that links to the two service pages. See how we structure those pages.

Two ways to keep your design consult calendar busy

Kitchen remodeling SEO builds pages that keep paying off. Paid ads put you in front of homeowners this month. Most remodelers start with one and add the other once they see how their design team handles the flow. The services page lays the two out side by side.
  • On the shortlist before the first consult

    Organic Growth

A single plan works on Google results, Maps and the answers AI assistants give. Each month adds pages for the remodel types, cabinet lines and neighborhoods on your calendar, written around how your crew really builds, and your design lead or owner checks any line that touches price, lead times or permits ahead of publication. On Gold and Platinum the website becomes our job as well.

    Paid Ads

We build and run Google, Bing and Meta Ads (Facebook and Instagram) campaigns around the project types you want more of, limited to the towns where your crew really works. Each platform charges you for its clicks on top of our fee.

Remodeling marketing myths that waste a design consult slot

Said at the design consultMore kitchen remodeling inquiries is always the goal.

What the project file showsYour calendar has a fixed number of design-consult slots and a fixed number of estimator hours. Ten inquiries from people with no budget cost you more than three from the right homeowners.

Said at the design consultHiding the price is how you keep the price shopper away.

What the project file showsThe shopper who collects five bids will simply book five consults. A clear how-we-price page tends to filter for the homeowners who already understand what a kitchen involves.

Said at the design consultA city name and a few swapped words make a service-area page.

What the project file showsA page that only changes the town is thin, and homeowners read it that way. Name the real neighborhoods you work in and describe the kind of kitchens found there.

Said at the design consultLead marketplaces are the same as owning your own search presence.

What the project file showsMarketplaces often resell the same inquiry to several firms. Pages and a map listing that belong to you do not get shared with the competition.

How a month with us runs, kitchen consult to punch list

We start the way you start a job: a site visit, except ours happens in your analytics, your map listing and your existing pages. We write up a scope of what to build and in which order, and you review it before a single page goes live. Any sentence about pricing, lead times, permits or warranties goes to your owner or lead designer first, because those words belong to your written terms and not to us.

Then the monthly kitchen remodeling SEO work begins: new pages for the remodel types, finishes and towns on your calendar, tidy-ups to titles and page speed, a Google Business Profile kept in line with your showroom or service area, and reporting (see the paid ads page for the ad side) that counts calls and design-consult requests instead of vanity numbers. Each month closes out like a phase of a project, with a punch list of what is done and what is next.

To be plain about our role: our work is marketing. We are not contractors, designers, architects, engineers, lenders or lawyers, and we do not advise on structure, electrical, plumbing, building rules, financing or what a local permit requires. For anything about permits, warranties or schedules, check your own written terms, your state licensing board and your own counsel or insurer. We also never promise a ranking or a number of inquiries.

Kitchen remodeler questions before the first call

What does a month of kitchen remodeling SEO cost?

Organic Growth Silver is $1,495 a month, with 25 new landing pages and four Strategic Content Assets, plus on-page and technical work, your Google Business Profile, citations, review requests and AI search work. It does not include a website. Gold is $2,495 a month and adds a fully managed custom website with hosting and maintenance, plus 50 pages and eight assets. Platinum is $3,495 a month with 100 pages, 12 assets and the website. Paid ads management is $895, $1,595 or $2,295 a month for one, two or three platforms, with ad spend billed by the platform on top.

Can you promise a ranking or a set number of design consults?

No, and a company that does is promising something that search engines and homeowners control. We promise the work: the pages, the profile clean-up, the tracking and the monthly report. Your design team is the one who turns an inquiry into a consult.

Do you sell kitchen remodeling leads or resell inquiries?

We do not sell leads. Every page, profile and ad we build is for your company only, so the homeowner who finds you is not also being sent to three other remodelers. That is a different business from a lead marketplace, and it is why the monthly reports talk about your calls and your consult requests.

Who decides what your pages say about permits, warranties or timelines?

You do. We write about your process in general terms and send anything touching permits, warranties, financing, lead times or schedules to your owner or lead designer before it publishes. Wording about those topics should come from your own written terms, your state licensing board, and your own counsel, insurer or lender.

Is there a contract, and can a month be the last one?

Each month works like a closed phase of a job. There is nothing to sign, no startup fee and no deposit to lose, so you can tell us a month is the last one and we stop when it ends. We would rather you stay because the monthly report earned it.

Does the ad budget come out of the paid ads management fee?

No. Google, Bing and Meta each bill you directly for clicks, on your own card, in an ad account that is registered in your name. Our fee pays for building, running and reporting on the campaigns. Each platform has its own current rules about what an ad may say, and we read those before we build.

Bring us the scope for your next season of kitchens.

Say which remodels you sell, which cabinet and countertop lines you favor and where your crews drive. What you get back is a frank assessment and one flat monthly figure. Please keep anything that identifies a homeowner, from names to permit numbers, out of what you write.

That floor plan drawing itself while you scroll is only an ornament. It is not a prediction of what any firm will see.
